Dr Sarah Caporale completed a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Queensland in 2012. She then spent 7 years working in Brisbane, mainly at The Prince Charles Hospital, but also for short periods at Redcliffe, Caboolture, Mackay and Rockhampton, gaining extended knowledge in various medical specialties.

In 2019, Dr Caporale changed fields and completed her General Practice specialty training, which she has found to be immensely rewarding and enjoyable. She trained in Hervey Bay and the Sunshine Coast and has also completed a Graduate Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine.

Dr Caporale has a wide array of interests, however, she particularly enjoys the practical aspects of general practice where minor procedures are required as well as the complexity of chronic medical diseases.

Dr Caporale is a mother to a re-homed energetic Labrador as well as a toddler who puts the Labrador to shame. She enjoys a balanced home and work life and is looking forward to exploring more of the Sunshine Coast and its surrounds.
